Lockheed Martin [LMT] on Wednesday marked delivery of the first AN/SPY-7(V)1 radar antenna to the Japanese government for its future two Aegis missile defense vessels. This sale occurred via a direct commercial sale arrangement through the Mitsubishi Corporation following “vigorous acceptance testing,” the company said. This follows a December $579 million Missile Defense Agency (MDA) modification award to Lockheed Martin to continue developing and integrating support for the two future Aegis System Equipped Vessels (ASEV), which increased the total contract…
